What do they need to know? - What the article is about taking into consideration the views of the audience and what kind of article it is.

Why do they need to know? - The reader wants to be informed of the story before they have read it. it may also be used to entice the reader to read the story because the image looks interesting.

What will they respond to? - I will have to look into what my audience will respond to through primary and secondary research.
